I fell in love with all of sarah j. Maas’s books📚❤️

When i tell yall i tried to read ACOTAR almost two years ago and put it down for 6 months and said i dont get the hype! Then one day i randomly pick it up again and said I’m gonna finish this book. I ended up falling in love with it and finishing the entire series in a week!

Also, side note. I know i say his name wrong, but it’s now engraved in my brain that way🫶🏾

I ended up reading all of her books and loving Throne of Glass even more, it’s my Roman Empire til this day! I’ll reread it this year❤️

Crescent City was amazing in my opinion, but a lot of people were not a fan. I lived for how modernized it was⭐️

🌙⭐️If you’ve read all of her books which series was your favorite??⭐️🌙

... Read moreMy journey with Sarah J. Maas's universe was far from love at first sight, and I know many fellow readers can relate! Initially, I picked up A Court of Thorns and Roses because everyone was raving about it. But back then, I just couldn't get into it. The first few chapters felt a bit slow, and I remember thinking, 'What's all the fuss about these ACOTAR books everyone is obsessed with? I don't like them!' It sat on my shelf for months, gathering dust, a testament to my initial skepticism. What changed? One rainy afternoon, I decided to give it another shot, determined to understand the hype. And slowly, something clicked. The world-building started to unfold, characters like Feyre and Rhysand began to breathe, and before I knew it, I was completely immersed. Finishing A Court of Mist and Fury and A Court of Wings and Ruin was a blur – I devoured the entire series within a week, completely shocked by how deeply I'd fallen. The emotional depth, the intricate plot twists, and the powerful relationships were unlike anything I'd read before in fantasy romance. It truly shifted my perspective on what the genre could offer. But if ACOTAR hooked me, then the Throne of Glass series absolutely stole my heart. When I say it's my Roman Empire, I mean it! The sheer scope of Aelin Galathynius's journey, from an assassin in a salt mine to a queen fighting for her kingdom, is breathtaking. The character development across all eight books is phenomenal. You experience every triumph, every heartbreak, every strategic move right alongside her. The friendships, the loyalties, and the slow-burn romances in this series are just *chef's kiss*. While ACOTAR has its magic, Throne of Glass felt like a masterclass in epic fantasy storytelling, blending intricate politics, diverse magic systems, and deeply flawed, incredibly resilient characters. It's a series I plan to reread every year. Then there's *Crescent City*. I know this series often receives mixed reviews, but I genuinely loved its unique approach. For me, the urban fantasy setting, combined with Maas's signature intricate world-building and character work, felt incredibly refreshing. The way she wove together modern technology with ancient magic and mythical creatures was brilliant. It felt like a fresh, bold step for her writing, offering a more contemporary feel while still delivering all the high stakes, emotional intensity, and steamy romance her fans adore. It solidified my realization: Sarah J. Maas would be my all-time favorite author. Her influence on the fantasy romance genre is undeniable. She crafts worlds that are not just backdrops but living, breathing entities, filled with rich histories, complex magic, and diverse cultures. Her characters, particularly her female leads, are strong, resilient, and deeply human, facing incredible challenges and growing through them. She masterfully balances action, intrigue, and passionate romance, making her books incredibly addicting. If you're looking for books that sweep you away, provide escapism, and leave a lasting emotional impact, diving into Sarah J. Maas's bibliography is an absolute must. Each series offers a distinct flavor, yet all carry her unmistakable talent for crafting unforgettable stories.
