Spending time with GOD

For me, the most profound and impactful part of my relationship with God is what happens behind the scenes, just between us. It truly is my biggest flex—knowing I'm favored by Him, and that connection doesn't need an audience or external approval. This is where real strength comes from. There's a unique peace that comes from nurturing a spiritual relationship that's solely between you and the Divine. It frees you from comparisons, from trying to impress others, or from feeling like your faith has to look a certain way. This sacred, private space allows for raw honesty, for asking tough questions, and for simply being yourself without judgment. It’s where authentic spiritual growth happens, away from the noise and expectations of the world. This is where I truly understand and feel that 'God will get you through it.' So, how do I cultivate this precious 'time with God'? It’s often in quiet moments, especially in the mornings before the day gets too hectic. Sometimes it’s opening my Bible app on my laptop or flipping through the worn pages of my physical Bible, letting His words wash over me and speak directly to my heart. Other times, it's just sitting in silence, praying, or talking to Him like I would a trusted friend, pouring out my worries and my gratitude. I’ve learned that 'learning about God' isn't always about grand revelations or intense study; it's often in these small, consistent moments of seeking His presence and listening. That feeling of being 'favored by God' isn't about being perfect or having an easy life; it's about knowing you're unconditionally loved, seen, and guided, even when you stumble or feel lost. It's a deep, internal reassurance. This personal connection has become my unwavering anchor amidst life's storms. When challenges arise, when I feel overwhelmed by distractions, or when doubts creep in, that quiet knowledge that 'it's between you and God anyway' isn’t just a comforting phrase; it’s a living truth I experience daily. It's a reminder that no matter what life throws my way, I have a powerful, loving ally who understands everything, even the things I can't articulate. This isn't a performance; it's a lifeline. It’s about building an authentic, unshakeable foundation of faith that sustains you from the inside out, empowering you to face anything with a spirit of quiet confidence. I truly believe everyone can find this kind of intimate connection. It starts with simply carving out those moments, no matter how small, to just be with Him and let your spirit be refreshed.
