36 Weeks 🌸
Officially 36 weeks and that means baby girl will be here in 3 weeks or lessss🤞🏽🫶🏽🥳🌸
Reaching 36 weeks pregnant is such an exciting milestone, marking the final stretch of pregnancy. At this stage, the baby is considered late preterm, and most healthcare providers prepare you for delivery within the next three to four weeks. From my experience, the anticipation builds daily as your body and mind get ready for the big day. During week 36, you might notice increased Braxton Hicks contractions—these are your body's way of practicing labor. Staying hydrated and resting when possible can help manage discomfort. It's also a good time to finalize your birth plan and pack your hospital bag. Personal care is important; I found that gentle prenatal yoga and meditation helped ease some of the anxiety. In terms of baby development, your little girl is rapidly gaining fat and preparing to regulate her body temperature after birth. Your healthcare provider may begin weekly appointments to monitor you and the baby's well-being more closely, including checking the baby’s position. Every pregnancy journey is unique; as a mother of three, I can say each time brings different emotions and experiences. Embracing this period with positivity and preparing mentally for motherhood has been key. Social support from family and fellow moms also makes a huge difference. Overall, 36 weeks pregnant is an extraordinary time filled with excitement and preparation. Cherish these moments while getting ready to welcome your beautiful baby girl into the world!
