Have our lives become so consumed by the struggle for survival that we overlook the joy in the present moment? Are we akin to the servant or the rat, tirelessly navigating a maze? Is it madness to dream of our next meal? Yabuiri is a Japanese holiday, which allowed servants to revel in their day off, celebrating with red beans. Could this be us, relishing the crumbs offered by the corporate world? After all time is more valuable than money. Is this reflective of us? Is it me?
