私がレンジガードを見直した一番の理由は、油料理のたびに「結局、掃除が大変…」ってなることでした。今まで使っていたステンレス系は、分解して洗うのが面倒だし、角が鋭いところがあって手を引っかけそうで地味にストレス。しかもIHだと「これ、天板に細かい傷つかない？」って毎回気になってました。 そこで試したのが、towerのシリコン素材のレンジガード（※IHコンロ専用）。結論、もっと早く替えればよかったです。まず、マグネットでくっつくので取り付けが本当にラク。料理前にサッと設置して、終わったらパッと外せます。レンジガードって出しっぱなしにすると圧迫感が出やすいけど、これはコンパクトに収納できるのも助かりました。 あと、形をいろんなパターンに変えられるのが便利でした。揚げ物は広めに囲ってしっかりガード、ちょい炒めの日は最小限…みたいに使い分けできると、キッチンがごちゃつきにくいです。アイランドキッチンだと油はねが周りに飛びやすいので、可変できるのは想像以上に良かったポイント。 お手入れ面では「分解しなくていい」が正義。汚れたら外して洗うだけで済むので、掃除のハードルがかなり下がりました。食洗機対応なのも嬉しくて、油が多い日の後片付けが一気にラクになります。 取り付けのコツとしては、IH天板が濡れていたり油膜があるとズレやすいので、設置前にサッと拭くのがおすすめです。マグネットがしっかり効く分、位置決めしてから置くとストレスが少ないです。 それと、検索でもよく見る「IH 猫 対策」目線でもレンジガードは役立ちました。うちは猫がキッチンに興味津々なので、料理中は物理的な仕切りがあるだけで“近づきにくさ”が出ます（もちろん火傷防止に、キッチンに入れない工夫が最優先ですが）。 注意点は、繰り返しになりますがIHコンロ専用なこと。ガス火では使えないので、購入前にここだけは必ず確認。IHで油はねガードを探していて、見た目も機能も妥協したくない人にはかなりハマると思います。
