I don’t think I can be a influencer 😂
I’m learning that I’m not good with recording myself at all.. so I will never be an influencer 😂 #CapCut #plussize #weightloss #fitnessjourney #healingjourney
Sharing my personal experience with trying to create content, I soon realized that recording myself wasn't something I was naturally comfortable with, which made me question my ability to be an influencer. For many, being an influencer means constantly being 'on' and sharing moments authentically, but for me, it became clear that this isn’t always easy or enjoyable. One thing I’ve learned is that it’s okay to not fit into the traditional mold of an influencer. My focus shifted to being genuine and sharing real moments from my fitness journey and healing process. Apps like Fitness+ and tools such as CapCut have been helpful in tracking my workouts and editing videos, making the process easier. Tracking metrics like heart rate and calories burned helped motivate me, even when I felt discouraged about producing content. Being plus-size and focusing on weight loss added another layer to my journey. It’s important to show that fitness and healing journeys look different for everyone, and every step forward is progress worth celebrating. The motivational messages I encounter, like “Keep going, no matter what,” have been crucial in pushing me to maintain consistency with exercise and self-care. This experience reminded me that social media and content creation should first and foremost benefit my well-being, not just garner likes or followers. For anyone out there struggling with self-recording or feeling pressure to be an influencer, I encourage you to embrace authenticity and share what truly inspires you. The journey is just as important as the end goal, and real connections come from honesty and vulnerability, not perfection or viral content.
