These are all scams. Please be careful. I am not talking to anyone on social media.

It seems like the number of fake accounts impersonating me, including profiles like 'dirtyfishboi' and various 'a_aronfish' derivatives, is just exploding. I've seen everything from 'a_aronfish108' to 'a_aronfish_private91' and even specific calls like 'Telegram me aaronfish2' in some of these scam messages. It's truly disheartening to see my community targeted.
These impersonators often lurk on various social media platforms, trying to connect with my followers. They might send DMs that sound personal, compliment your posts, or even claim to offer exclusive opportunities. But please, be extremely wary. A common tactic is to quickly try and move the conversation off the platform to apps like Telegram or WhatsApp, where they feel they can operate with less scrutiny. They might ask for personal information, try to get you to invest in fake schemes, or even just send suspicious links. Remember, I will never ask you for money, personal details, or to click on unverified links in a DM.
So, how can you protect yourself and spot these fakes? Firstly, always check the profile carefully. Look for a verified badge if the platform offers one. While these scammers often mimic follower counts, you can usually tell by the lack of genuine engagement or the recent creation date of the account. My official accounts are always clearly linked in my bios or on my verified channels. If an account is asking you to 'Telegram me aaronfish2' or any similar instruction, it's a massive red flag.
If you receive a suspicious message from an account you suspect is fake, the best thing to do is to not engage. Do not reply, do not click on any links, and do not provide any personal information. Instead, block the account immediately and report it to the social media platform. Your reports help platforms identify and shut down these fraudulent profiles, protecting others in our community.
It's a constant battle, but with your help, we can make it harder for these scammers to succeed. My main message remains: I am not talking to anyone personally on social media, and any account claiming to be me and asking for anything suspicious is a scam. Stay vigilant, stay safe, and always double-check before you engage. Let's look out for each other!
