school/work balance becoming too much?

i need help or suggestions on how to deal with school and work and family after working your ass off for years as a teenager and into early adulthood. this is my biggest issue at the moment, and I really don’t want to have to choose the work life over continuing school again, because this is the first time i’ve gone back after 2 years, and it started out okay but it’s piling up now. my head is constantly full and even at work, when i bring my things along with me for school, i can’t accomplish anything. yes i’m bad at time management and have a procrastination problem, but recently i’ve been doing a lot better with doing things in a timely manner, yet it’s still becoming overwhelming :/ #school #work #schoolworklifeblance #Lemon8Diary #unfiltered

... Read moreBalancing school and work can be challenging, especially for those returning to education after a break. Many students, particularly those juggling work and family responsibilities, report feelings of overwhelm as they navigate their commitments. The key to success lies in effective time management and prioritization. One effective strategy is to create a daily planner that outlines tasks and responsibilities, allowing you to allocate a specific time for school assignments and work tasks. This method helps prevent last-minute cramming and reduces stress. Additionally, incorporating breaks into your schedule is crucial. Short, regular breaks can boost your focus and effectiveness, helping you to recharge. Resources such as online productivity tools or time management apps can also aid in tracking assignments and deadlines. Seeking support from classmates, friends, or family can provide a much-needed encouragement and assistance. Moreover, consider discussing your workload with your employer; they may offer flexible hours or additional support. Remember, it's essential to prioritize self-care during this busy time. Activities such as exercise, meditation, or simply spending time with loved ones can have a positive impact on your mental health, making it easier to handle academic and work pressures. With the right techniques and support, achieving a healthier work-school-life balance is possible!
