🌸Heyy yall🌸
From my experience navigating social media, I've noticed many people spend a lot of time watching others they openly dislike — whether it's viewing stories, posts, or updates. It often feels like an unhealthy obsession, almost like a mental loop that keeps them focused on negativity. Personally, I find it freeing to simply avoid engaging with people who don't add positive value to my life. Setting boundaries online helps me maintain my mental peace. I don’t follow, watch, or interact with anyone I don’t genuinely like or support. If I come across someone whose content I don’t appreciate, I simply unfollow or mute them. It’s not about being rude; it’s about protecting my own energy and avoiding unnecessary drama. Interestingly, I’ve observed some people who dislike others paradoxically consume all their content. This constant surveillance without intention to connect feels strange and harmful to both parties. Why invest emotional energy in someone you don’t want in your life? For anyone struggling with this, I recommend reflecting on your own social media habits. Ask yourself: Does following or monitoring someone you dislike serve a purpose? More often than not, the answer may be no. Cultivating a feed filled with positivity and people you respect brings greater satisfaction and less anxiety. Overall, staying true to what feels right for you, just like choosing not to deal with certain people or content, promotes a healthier, more enjoyable social media experience. It’s okay to disengage and focus on connections that uplift you rather than those that drain you.
