🌸Heyy yall🌸
In today’s digital age, it's so easy to get caught up in watching every detail of someone else’s life through their social media profiles. From my own experience, I used to spend a lot of time trying to analyze posts and stories, thinking I could truly understand someone's life from what I saw on my screen. But what I learned is that much of what we see is curated and does not represent the full reality. Constantly monitoring others online can lead to unnecessary stress and negativity, both towards others and ourselves. This behavior, sometimes called 'social media stalking,' often makes us feel competitive or judgmental, which doesn’t help anyone’s mental health. Instead, it's healthier to step back and remember that people share what they want to share. They choose what pages to follow, what moments to post, and what parts of their life remain private. Accepting this boundary helps us appreciate our own lives without unfair comparisons. I encourage everyone to be mindful and kind - both to yourself and to others behind those phone screens. Social media should add value to your day, not anxiety. By focusing on your own growth and authentic connections rather than dissecting others’ every move, you’ll find more peace and enjoyment in your online and offline worlds.
