🌸Heyy yall🌸
I've noticed this happens quite often—people see you investing in yourself, like getting your nails done or maintaining your appearance, and suddenly they think you're an automatic source of money. From my personal experience, it's important to remember that self-care is a personal choice and an investment in your well-being, not a green light for anyone to ask you for financial help. It's quite common for some people to misinterpret your self-spoiling as a sign of financial openness or abundance. However, managing your finances and spending on yourself does not mean you owe anyone else. Setting clear boundaries is crucial; you don't have to justify your decisions or explain your financial situation to others. When someone asks you for money simply because they see you taking care of yourself, it's okay to say no firmly without feeling guilty. It might feel awkward at first, but maintaining your peace of mind and financial stability should come first. In fact, saying no respectfully but confidently can even improve your relationships by establishing mutual respect. Also, keep in mind that self-care can take many forms—it doesn't always have to be expensive treatments or purchases. It's about doing things that make you feel good and support your mental and physical health. Whether it’s a spa day, a nice meal, or simply some quiet time, taking care of yourself is essential. Remember, your self-care journey is for you and you alone. Don’t let others' expectations or assumptions dictate how you handle your finances or your personal time. Stay strong, prioritize your needs, and don’t let anyone pressure you into giving money just because you’re doing well in some aspects of life.

I do all my personal care myself. My nails my hair my feet and my lashes. That’s how I’m able to spoil myself. When it’s time to go out to lunch or shopping I have more to spend on whatever I want
