🌸Heyy yall🌸
From my own experience, dealing with people who refuse to acknowledge their wrongdoings can be incredibly challenging. What struck me most is that sometimes people won’t forgive you, not because of what you did to them, but because of what they have done to you and haven’t faced themselves. It’s a form of manipulation that often leaves us feeling confused and hurt. When someone refuses to take accountability, it can make moving forward feel impossible. I’ve found it helps to remember that their inability to forgive says more about their own struggles than about your worth or actions. Recognizing that some people simply aren’t willing to change or admit their faults is a step towards protecting your own mental health. It’s also important to set boundaries to avoid being caught in cycles of blame and manipulation. Not everyone deserves endless patience or chances, especially if their behavior consistently harms you. In my personal journey, learning when to walk away has been empowering and healing. Moreover, practicing self-forgiveness and kindness to yourself opens the door to true healing. While we can’t control others’ responses, we can control how we react and the space we create for our own well-being. Ultimately, overcoming the pain caused by others’ lack of accountability reminds us to value our own peace and growth above all.
