🌸Heyy yall🌸
From my own experience, it’s truly unsettling when you can sense that someone around you doesn’t genuinely like you but still tries to stay close. That kind of energy is what I call "fake energy," and it creates a constant tension that’s hard to ignore. In various environments like work, family get-togethers, or friend groups, I’ve noticed people who want to be near me even though I can feel their dislike beneath the surface. It’s almost like they want to benefit from my presence without truly respecting or liking me. You can tell because when you try to create distance or ask for space, they cling tighter, as if desperate not to lose what they’re getting from you. One of the strongest indicators of this kind of false affection is the energy people give off. Energy rarely lies — while words can deceive, the genuine feeling or vibe someone emits often reveals their true intentions. If you feel someone's energy is off, pretending to be friendly but actually being resentful or jealous, trust your instincts. In those moments, it helped me to focus on setting healthy boundaries and not allowing those relationships to drain my emotional energy. Recognizing fake energy early on is a powerful tool. It’s about protecting your peace of mind and surrounding yourself with people who genuinely support and respect you. So if you feel like someone is "wanting access" to you but secretly isn’t a true friend or supporter, pay attention to that gut feeling. It’s better to address it or distance yourself than to waste time in relationships that aren’t authentic. Remember, energy speaks volumes, and learning to read it can save you from unnecessary hurt.
