Crockpot Homemade Apple Cider Recipe

Ingredients:

• 5 apples

• 1 tbsp cinnamon

• Dash of All Spice

• 2 tbsp lemon juice

• 5 cups water

• 6-9 tbsp brown or white sugar, depending on your preferred sweetness

Directions:

1. Cut apple slices and place in slow cooker

2. Add 1 tbsp cinnamon, a dash of salt, and a dash of All Spice

3. Add 2 tbsp lemon juice and 5 cups water. Stir

4. Cook on high for 3-4 hours

5. While the liquid is still hot, carefully mash the apples, then add 6-9 tbsp sugar depending on your preferred sweetness. I used brown sugar, although if you want a lighter flavor, use white sugar

6. Taste test the drink. If it needs more tartness, add a small amount of lemon juice. If it needs more sweetener, add more sugar

7. Strain the liquid through a mesh strainer

8. Serve warm or chilled. Keep refrigerated. Enjoy!
