My Favorite Sparkling Cucumber Lime Drink

You can make a hydrating drink with just a few ingredients! I love Agua Fresca and wanted to make a version with no added sugars and with carbonated water (instead of flat). I used monk fruit sweetener to keep this low cal but you can use sugar instead.

It’s light, tastes fresh, and is a sweet citrus flavor. If you love cucumber water (or you’re just looking for alternatives to soda) I think you’ll love this!

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cucumber (washed)

• 1 can of sparkling water

• 1/4 cup monk fruit sweetener

• a little lime juice

Directions:

1. Cut 2-3 slices of cucumber with the skin for color. Peel the rest and then cut into slices.

2. Put cucumber in a blender with monk fruit sweetener. Blend until smooth.

3. Transfer to a cup. Add a squeeze of lime juice. Pour in cold sparkling water. Enjoy!

That's exactly why this sparkling cucumber lime drink became my absolute go-to! I've been on a mission to find delicious, hydrating alternatives to sugary sodas, and this one truly hits the spot. It's more than just a drink; it's a little daily ritual that makes me feel good from the inside out, offering that perfect 'fizzy cucumber drink' experience. Beyond its incredible taste, I love how beneficial it is. Cucumbers are packed with water and electrolytes, making this a fantastic way to boost your hydration throughout the day. Plus, the lime adds a zingy kick and a dose of Vitamin C. For anyone looking for a 'fresh cucumber lime detox water' option, this sparkling version is a perfect fit. It's naturally low in calories, especially when I use monk fruit sweetener, which is a game-changer for keeping things light without sacrificing sweetness. The OCR also highlighted "Sparkling Cucumber Agua Fresca," and while this recipe isn't a traditional Agua Fresca, it definitely shares that vibrant, fresh spirit. One of the best things about this recipe is how easily you can make it your own. While I adore the simple cucumber and lime combo, sometimes I'll experiment. For an extra herbal note, a sprig of fresh mint or basil blended in with the 'peeled cucumber' can elevate the flavor beautifully. If you prefer a slightly sweeter profile without monk fruit, a tiny drizzle of agave or a few drops of stevia can work too. You could even add a few frozen berries for a hint of fruitiness, turning it into a vibrant 'green detox juice aesthetic glass' that's almost too pretty to drink! Thinking about all the 'ingredients' makes me realize how versatile it is. I often get asked about making this into a 'sparkling cucumber mocktail' for gatherings. It's super simple! Just prepare a larger batch of the 'blended cucumber' and lime base, then pour it into a beautiful pitcher with plenty of ice and fresh cucumber slices. Let guests top it off with sparkling water as they like. It’s a sophisticated, non-alcoholic option that everyone appreciates, especially during a 'Dry January' or simply when you want a healthier choice for your 'cucumber lime sparkling water glass'. There's something incredibly satisfying about sipping on this 'sparkling cucumber drink'. It feels luxurious and refreshing, yet it's so quick to prepare. It truly embodies that 'cucumber slices fresh hydration' feeling, making it perfect for any time of day. Whether you're unwinding after a long day or need a healthy pick-me-up, this recipe is a winner. Give it a try, and I bet it'll become one of your favorites too!
