29 things I’ve learned in 29 years

Crazy that I’m in the last year of my twenties and thrilled to report that life keeps feeling better and better the closer I get to my thirties 🥳🩵

Grateful for another year to grow, learn, love, and ✨flourish✨ (my word for 2025). Can’t wait to see what 29 has in store 🫧🩷🩵✨

... Read moreAs I reflect on my twenty-nine years, the journey has been filled with invaluable lessons that go beyond just personal anecdotes. Life’s challenges have taught me that disappointment is a part of growth, and it’s perfectly okay to prioritize self-care over people-pleasing. Rediscovering childhood hobbies can bring immense joy, and enjoying the simple pleasures, like coffee, can feel like a divine gift. Mastering new skills in the kitchen, such as making homemade cinnamon rolls or utilizing an air fryer, has not only improved my nutrition but also made cooking a delightful experience. The significance of health cannot be overstated; ensuring adequate protein and fiber intake has profound benefits. Similarly, establishing a gym routine, especially during off-peak hours, can maximize results without the crowd. Moreover, I learned that consistent effort is key; changes take time, and it's often better to take small steps rather than strive for perfection all at once. One revelation that many might find liberating is realizing that you owe nothing to anyone—your path is yours alone to navigate. Lastly, I discovered that life is too short to let fear dictate our choices. Embracing what scares us can lead to empowerment and freedom. At the end of the day, it’s heartening to remember that the struggles we face today might not hold significance a century from now, so embrace the dance of life!

the most important thing i’ve learned abt habits:
everything changed when I started seeing my habits as part of who I am. once it's tied to who you are, you don't need constant motivation - skipping it feels off. understanding that your habits are directly correlated to your sense of self, like: “I want to work out” vs “I’m the kind
