Must Do’s In Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge ✨👇
I love Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge. I live close to there so I go quite a bit. If you don’t know which to stay in, if you’re more outdoorsy and want a better chance at seeing a bear, stay in Gatlinburg. If you like shopping and more touristy things then pigeon forge is for you. When me and my fiancé go, we always stay in Gatlinburg but still drive to pigeon forge because it’s like a 15 minute drive. Now to the things you must do:
1: Hillbilly golf: One of my favorite mini golf courses in the area. Super fun and the set up is really cool.
2: Sky Bridge: this is a little bit pricey. It’s between $60-$70 a person, but the pass is for all day. You also get access to the ski lift. We usually go up as soon as they open, and then again for sunset. It’s absolutely beautiful and even being scared of heights it doesn’t bother me.
3: The Melting pot: This is a no go if you’re on a budget. I think it’s 100% worth the experience. Not only the experience, but the food was amazing. It usually hovers around $50-$60 a person. For me and my fiancé it was $200 because he surprised me with the romance package with roses.
4: mini golf: You just have to hit at least 3 mini golf courses in Pigeon forge. I have done almost all of them and I think crave is my favorite. It’s candy themed and super fun.
5: fairytale village: There’s a lot of little shops and it’s just fun to walk around in. The photo ops are great too.
6: Cades cove: A loop trail you drive through with ample opportunities to see wildlife. The only thing I suggest is to make sure you go early when everything is on the move.
7: Alcatraz Crime Museum: If you’re a crime junkie you need to go here. They have different exhibits sometimes. Last time I went I seen Ted Bundys bug, John Wayne Gacys suits, and other various crime related relics. It was so fun.
8: Ripleys Aquarium: My Favorite place. It’s a little more expensive it’s about $100 for two people. I never regret it though because I always have so much fun. See last post for more.
Not pictured: Arcade. You have to go to an arcade. We go for hours and they are so much fun. Russel Stover has the absolute best ice cream Sundays. Chocolate monkey has the best ice cream scoops and cones.
I suggest using cabins USA to book a private cabin the area, they almost always have hot tubs. It’s wonderful!

I went to the aquarium and the sky bridge and I loved them both !
