Engaged at 21💍
I know a lot of people will say “you’re too young!!” But I could disagree! Im going to start off by saying once you know.. YOU KNOW. Let’s take a bigger look at this… my mother got married at 19 and my mom and dad are still together to this day! Over 30 years! His family, Same exact thing! Only one marriage and have been together over 30 years! Now this doesn’t always mean anything!! But, it definitely makes us know what comes with a truly loving and caring marriage and what it looks like! Aside from family talk, me and my fiancé have been through so much in only a year! From meeting each other through TikTok, to moving to a completely different state together, to loosing our baby at 21 weeks, and so much more! Our relationship isn’t always rainbows and butterflies but ups and downs come with any relationship and we are just willing to talk and work things out to keep us stronger and healthier! I love him soo much and wouldn’t change anything we’ve gone through to get here! Anyways I could go on and on all day but I’ll keep it at that. Just keep in mind, if someone tells you you’re “too young” don’t listen to it. Like I said before, once you know. YOU KNOW!🥹🩷

Getting engaged at a young age can be a controversial topic, often met with skepticism. Many believe that youth equates to lack of maturity or experience. However, many successful marriages began in their early twenties or even late teens, showcasing that love and commitment know no age restrictions. The importance of communication and transparency in a relationship, especially when facing life's challenges, is crucial. In young relationships, navigating hurdles such as supporting each other through losses or significant life changes can strengthen bonds and establish deeper connections. Supportive families and positive role models play a significant role in shaping how young couples view commitment. When witnessing long-lasting unions, it instills hope and assurance that a thriving relationship is possible even at a young age. It's also essential to counteract societal pressures and misconceptions regarding young love and commitment. Encouraging open dialogue about feelings, aspirations, and concerns can empower couples to make decisions best for them, irrespective of external opinions. Ultimately, engagement is about readiness to embark on a shared journey—one filled with growth, experiences, and mutual understanding. Remember, if you feel ready, that's what truly matters!
