Off the Chart is such a cute little rom-com, but listen… when I say the FIRST 21 pages had my jaw on the floor?? I just knew I was about to walk into pure chaos and mess 😭
But surprisingly… it wasn’t messy like that—and I’m actually glad. The story took a more mature route, and I really appreciated how the MFC handled everything. No bitterness, no dragging things out—just growth and moving on gracefully. We love to see it 👏🏽
And the karma in this book?? Oh, it was SERVED exactly how it needed to be 😌
This book had me laughing in almost every chapter. The banter was fun, the chemistry was there, and yes—it gave a little spice 🌶️ but nothing over the top. I also loved how they communicated, even in those intimate moments—it felt real.
Now let’s talk about Vayce… because BABY 😭 he is a “let me show you” type of man, and I ate that up every single time. No notes for him.
Short, straight to the point, funny, a little spicy, and satisfying?
10/10 recommend. 💕

... Read moreWhen I first dived into "Off the Chart," I wasn’t prepared for the rollercoaster that awaited me, especially in those jaw-dropping opening pages. But what truly impressed me was how the story evolved beyond initial chaos into something refreshingly mature. Rather than indulging in endless drama, the narrative embraced growth and moving on, which felt very genuine and uplifting.
One thing I particularly appreciated was how communication was portrayed—not just the surface-level exchanges but those intimate conversations that felt honest and real. It’s rare to see romantic stories handle this so smoothly without venturing into unrealistic territory. And yes, the subtle spice added just the right amount of excitement without overshadowing the emotional depth.
The character Vayce stood out immensely. He perfectly embodied the supportive partner who leads through actions rather than words. His confidence and sincerity made the romantic moments especially satisfying.
Another highlight was the delightful karma theme woven into the story. It wasn’t just a passing plot device but an integral part of the character arcs, delivering justice naturally and leaving me smiling. This balance of humor, romance, and life lessons is what made the read so memorable.
If you enjoy rom-coms that combine laughter with heartfelt maturity and engaging characters, "Off the Chart" is absolutely worth your time.
I loved this book
