Working animal control, you have to count your wins. And this was definitely one for me and for all involved. It always is when I can help people help their pets. And to also add, as animal control, we cannot force people to surrender their pets nor do we want them to. Our shelter has a very proactive and forward thinking approach. And with how full our kennels already are, we do not want to bring more animals in when we can work with the people who own and love them and provide them the resources they need in order to keep them.
