Luke 7:38 ~
“Then she knelt behind Him at His feet, weeping… and she wiped them with her hair, kissed them, and poured perfume on them.”
There is something sacred about being at His feet.
It’s the place of surrender.
The place of humility.
The place where tears fall freely… and grace meets us completely.
On this Good Friday, we remember the greatest act of love ever given…
Jesus, willingly laying down His life…
For you. For me. For all of us.
And where do we find ourselves in this story?
At His feet. 🙌🏼
Not standing in pride.
Not striving to earn anything.
But kneeling… in awe of a Savior who chose the cross.
Just like the woman who poured out her most precious possession…
We are invited to pour out our hearts.
Our burdens.
Our regrets.
Our gratitude.
Our worship.
Because at His feet…
🤍 Chains are broken
🤍 Shame loses its grip
🤍 Love covers it all
Today isn’t just about what He did…
It’s about how deeply He loves.
A love so powerful… it stayed on the cross.
A love so personal… it calls your name.
So today, don’t rush past this moment.
Sit with Him.
Weep if you need to.
Worship with everything you have.
Because before the victory of Sunday…
There was the surrender of Friday.
And it was all for you!
Jesus…
Today I come to Your feet.
Thank You for the cross. Thank You for Your sacrifice.
Thank You for loving me when I didn’t deserve it.
Help me to never take for granted what You’ve done for me.
Teach me to live surrendered… right here at Your feet.
Amen! 🤍

Spending time at the feet of Jesus is more than a symbolic act; it’s a transformative experience that allows us to connect deeply with the essence of Good Friday. This sacred moment of surrender invites us to pause, reflect, and lay down our own burdens, regrets, and fears in the presence of the One who bore them all for us. In my own faith journey, moments spent 'at His feet' have been pivotal times of healing and renewal. Like the woman in Luke 7:38 who washed Jesus' feet with her tears and anointed them with perfume, our acts of humility and vulnerability open the door to grace and restoration. There, shame loses its hold, chains of guilt and regret are broken, and love covers every imperfection. Good Friday challenges us to embrace a posture of genuine worship—not from a place of pride or achievement but from awe and gratitude for a Savior who chose the cross willingly. This surrender calls us to recognize that the victory of Easter morning was made possible by the sacrifice on Friday—a sacrifice that was both personal and majestic. This practice has helped me cultivate a daily habit of bringing my heart’s deepest struggles and thankfulness to Jesus, trusting that at His feet, transformation happens.
