🍞Just a Little Daily Bread…🍞
Isaiah 43:18-19 ~
“Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?”
Sometimes the hardest step of faith is not beginning…
It’s moving forward after disappointment, delay, heartbreak, failure, or fear.
We replay old conversations.
We revisit old wounds.
We water dead things God already asked us to release.
But fruit does not grow in backward movement.
God never called us to live chained to what hurt us.
He called us to walk forward in faith, trusting that even painful seasons can still produce holy fruit.
Every pruning season has purpose.
Every stretching season has meaning.
Every closed door is not rejection… sometimes it is divine redirection.
The enemy wants you stuck in yesterday.
God is calling you into overflow.
Keep moving.
Keep planting.
Keep praying.
Keep trusting.
Because the same God who carried you THROUGH the wilderness is the same God preparing fruit in your future.
Do not quit before harvest season! 🙌🏼
Lord, help me release every weight that keeps me from moving forward.
Prune what no longer belongs in my life and grow fresh fruit within me. Give me courage to trust You in new seasons, even when I cannot see the full path ahead.
Thank You for never leaving me stuck where You called me to grow. In Jesus’ Name, Amen! 🤍

Reflecting on the message of moving forward and fruitful living, I've found that embracing new seasons in life requires intentional steps and a heart open to change. Often, we hold tightly to past disappointments or fears, inadvertently watering dead things that no longer serve us. It can be challenging to let go, but trusting that every closed door is a form of divine redirection has been transformative for me. In my personal faith journey, the imagery of pruning has been especially powerful. Just as a gardener prunes plants to promote healthy growth and abundant fruit, I have learned to identify what aspects of my life need to be released. Sometimes this means ending unfruitful habits, forgiving past hurts, or stepping out of my comfort zone to embrace God's promises. The scripture from Isaiah 43:18-19 reminds me daily to reject dwelling on the past and instead focus on the new things God is creating. This mindset shift helps me overcome hesitation caused by fear or failure. Praying for courage during these transitions has been essential, and with consistent faith and action—such as planting new seeds through daily prayers and positive decisions—growth and blessing naturally follow. I also recognize that setbacks and delays are not signs of rejection but opportunities for growth. Trusting God through wilderness seasons strengthens resilience and prepares me to receive the overflow He promises. Being part of faith communities, like the gatherings at the Mustard Seed, offers support and shared encouragement, which makes moving forward more hopeful and fruitful. If you find yourself replaying past conversations or stuck in old wounds, remember that God calls us to walk forward in faith. You’re invited to release every weight that holds you back and embrace the promise that fresh fruit is growing in your future if you keep trusting, praying, and persevering. The harvest is coming—don’t quit before it arrives.
