I lost 87 pounds 😭✨
Sad to say but when I first became a nurse 6.5 years ago I put my health on the back burner! I gained so much weight and got lost in sauce of caring for others.
In 2022 I decided enough was enough. I started to take care of me and prioritize MYSELF. I lost 87 pounds and have maintained it off. I fell in love with moving my body and became the “we have food at home” person I used to hate when I was younger 😂
A lot of you have been asking for help to start your journey and I love share the things that helped me.
I focused on real food. I started paying an attention to all the products with SEED oils in them. They all cause massive inflammation in the body. I didn’t go balls to the ball and sign up for a gym. I actually just started walking first. I went from walking to power walking and then made it a goal to make 10,000 steps MiNIMUM. The weight started flying off.
So many people watched my transformation throughout the year and begged me to put something together! So I did! I’ve been told that I’m gifted in the kitchen 😂👏 but I’m also very realistic with quick meals and meal prep. One thing I don’t do is that I don’t sacrifice taste because food is life.
6 months ago I created a wellness ebook with my favorite protein hacks, snacks, easy meals, meal prep and a bunch of videos of me talking to you guys about my journey, how I started, apps I use and how I hit my goals!
I have the ebook $20 off this week!! I can send you the link if you want to check it out!

Seeing '87 pounds' written down still feels surreal to me sometimes! You might be wondering, what does losing that much weight actually look like? It's not just a number on the scale; it’s a complete life overhaul, both inside and out. For me, it meant going from struggling to keep up during my nursing shifts to feeling light on my feet, full of energy even after a long day. My clothes literally swam on me – I dropped several dress sizes, and suddenly, shopping became a joy instead of a dread. My face slimmed down, my features became more defined, and honestly, I saw a sparkle in my eyes I hadn't seen in years. It’s like discovering a new version of yourself you always knew was there, just hidden. Beyond the physical changes, the mental shift was profound. Before, my mood often felt sluggish, like I was constantly dragging myself through the day, maybe even relying on endless coffee to get by. But after losing the weight, my energy levels soared, and my outlook completely brightened. I feel more confident, more present, and truly excited about life. It wasn't just about fitting into smaller clothes; it was about reclaiming my health and my happiness, proving to myself that I could achieve something significant. I finally felt like the vibrant person I always knew I was, just waiting to emerge. To achieve this, I really focused on sustainable habits. My walking journey started small. I remember days when even a short walk felt like a marathon. But I built up gradually, aiming for those 10,000 steps minimum, and it became my daily non-negotiable. It wasn't about punishing myself; it was about moving my body in a way that felt good and consistent. And food? Oh, food became my friend again! I learned to cook delicious, real meals that nourished me. For instance, I swapped out processed snacks for fruit and nuts, and made sure every meal had a good source of lean protein like chicken or fish. I also became really mindful of ingredients, especially those hidden seed oils often found in packaged goods that can contribute to inflammation and hinder progress. It's amazing how much better you feel when you fuel your body with what it truly needs and avoids things that work against you. The transformation didn't happen overnight; it was a steady, consistent effort over time, celebrating small victories along the way. I learned to listen to my body, understanding its hunger cues and energy needs. Meal prepping became my secret weapon for staying on track, ensuring I always had healthy options readily available, even on busy days. This entire journey wasn't about perfection; it was about progress. There were days I stumbled, but I always got back up, reminding myself of my 'why.' The key was finding a routine that fit my life, not forcing my life to fit a rigid diet. If you're starting your own journey, remember that consistency beats intensity every single time. And trust me, the feeling of looking in the mirror and genuinely loving the reflection staring back at you? That's priceless. It truly is a transformation that touches every part of your being, making you feel vibrant and alive. You can absolutely do this too!
