How to save $10,000!!

I read somewhere online that throwing away $10,000 a year was as simple as mindless spending of $27 a day. 🙈 is that you? A coffee run? A daily drive thru run… how easy it to swipe your card for $27 every day. That’s $10,000 a year on things you don’t need. Let’s reverse that.

How fast do you want to save X amount of money.

We will use 10,000 as the example here!

Set a Budget: Determine how much you need to save each month to reach your goal.

Cut Unnecessary Expenses: Review your spending habits and identify areas where you can cut back, like dining out or subscriptions. Go into your bank statement and see what monthly charges are coming out automatically so you can cut out what you don’t need.

Set Savings Goals: Break down your $10,000 goal into smaller milestones to stay motivated. How often do you get paid? Weekly? Biweekly!? Monthly?

Automate Savings: Set up automatic transfers from your checking account to your savings account each payday.

Increase Income: This is how I added $220,000 to our savings in 5.5 months. Consider taking on a side hustle or freelance work to boost your earnings. The same way it’s easy to spend $27 a day.. it’s also simple to have an automated side hustle that makes you $27 a day.. that’s 10,000 a year.

How about if you want $5,000 a month? An automated side hustle that makes you $161 a day will add $5000 to your savings account every month. It’s my favorite way to grow my savings.

Track Your Progress: Regularly monitor your savings to stay on track and make adjustments if needed.

Avoid Impulse Purchases: Think twice before making non-essential purchases to avoid unnecessary spending. Do you NEEEEED that or do you want it? You don’t NEED more house decor, clothes or shoes. 😌 now for now at least..

Use Coupons and Discounts: Look for deals and discounts when shopping for essentials to save money. I have an app that gives me money back on gas and groceries every single time I shop. And it’s free. I like free money. 👏👏

Meal Prep: Cook at home and meal prep to save on dining expenses. THIS! 👏👏 Try it for 30 days and

Not only will you look better, feel better but your bank account will look better too! I have a bunch of easy and delicious recipes saved on my bio! I know way around the kitchen 😌

Prioritize Saving: Make saving a priority and stick to your plan to reach your $10,000 goal in one year.

Make it a priority to increase your income and learn how to add passive income to your life that way you can MAKE MORE & SAVE MORE!! My side hustle is freelance digital marketing and I started around my nursing career & now it’s my biggest source of income!

If you want to learn about it I can share info with you too!🫶🏻

... Read moreThere's something incredibly satisfying about the idea of having $10,000 cash, isn't there? Seeing those dollar bills, whether they're twenty or five-dollar denominations spread across a table or safely tucked away, represents a significant milestone for so many of us. It's not just a number in an account; it's a tangible step towards financial freedom, a security blanket, or a launchpad for bigger dreams. For a long time, I felt like money was just slipping through my fingers, much like what the article mentions about mindless spending. That daily coffee or takeout, those small online purchases – they really do add up! But I realized that if I could easily spend $27 a day without thinking, I could also easily save or earn that much with intention. This shift in mindset was game-changing for me. One area I've really leaned into to accelerate adding $10,000 to my savings account is boosting my income through side hustles. The original article touches on this, and it's truly powerful. It's not always about finding a second full-time job; often, it's about leveraging skills you already have or learning new ones. For instance, if you're good at writing, consider freelance content creation. If you're organized, virtual assistant work is booming. Even something as simple as delivering groceries or becoming an online tutor can bring in that extra $27, $50, or even $100 a day consistently. What I love about automated side hustles, as mentioned, is that they can work even when you're focused on your main job or enjoying your life. Setting up a system where you offer a specific service or product online, and it generates leads or sales on its own, means you're building income passively. That's how I managed to add a significant amount to our savings, and it feels incredible to see that money materialize, making the dream of having $10,000 cash a reality. Once you start seeing that $10,000 accumulate, whether it's in your savings account or as a specific fund you're building, the motivation skyrockets. It stops being an abstract goal and becomes something real, something you can almost feel in your hand. This milestone can be your emergency fund, providing immense peace of mind. Or perhaps it's the start of a down payment for a home, a car, or an investment. Having that sum gives you options and control over your financial future that you didn't have before. So, don't just aim to save; aim to have that $10,000, and watch how it transforms your financial journey.
