How I grocery shop to reach my goals! 🍌🥬🥔🍪

Heres my grocery haul coming back from a week trip away! I needed to stock back up on my necessities and this is what stocking my kitchen back up from Costco looks like.

-PROTEIN I usually go for 2-3 protein sources and being a pescatarian, I chose fish for most of them.

-FRUIT I keep fruit on hand for many reasons. They’re a great carb source, easy to grab on the go and something sweet to snack to subside sugary cravings so I typically grab 2-4 types of fruit.

-VEGGIES/CARBS I usually choose 1-2 carb sources for my main meals so something like rice, potatoes or quinoa are things I usually go to along with 1-2 vegetables for on the side of my main dishes.

-FATS/MISC. I don’t usually eat cheese but I do like to make salads and quesadillas so I keep it on hand for these things along with butter for cooking (I use this in such small amounts and its better for you than most processed oils and cooking sprays).

I try to follow the 80/20 rule when shopping so this means 80% clean Whole Foods and 20% of whatever else I want so there’s balance.
