this accessory produced by American Flyer is notorious for not working. The top is supposed to rotate because of the heat generated by the light bulb passing through little blades. I have spent hours and hours trying to get mine to turn...and while it spins with the lightest breeze it will not turn by itself. this one was sent to me with a motor added. I will be doing this project to mine at a future date.
