Use Your Apple Pencil for Gaming!

Here a few mobile games that work great with your Apple Pencil.

Good Coffee Great Coffee - use your pencil to make cute latte art

Snackie Mart - my finger was covering the snacks. The small pencil tip made it much easier to see and place.

Good Pizza Great Pizza - Place toppings fast to keep your customers happy. I also love all the tapping sounds 😆

Any Delicious Emily Game - Apple Pencil is great for cooking/ time management games

... Read moreI used to think my Apple Pencil was just for notes and drawing, but oh boy, was I wrong! Since I started experimenting with it for gaming on my iPad, my mobile experience has totally changed. No more giant fingers blocking the screen when I'm trying to place items or make precise moves in strategy or simulation games. It's truly opened up a new level of enjoyment for many titles. For games where precision is key, the Apple Pencil is an absolute must-have. Take 'Good Pizza Great Pizza' – it's so much easier to get those toppings exactly where they need to be, keeping my virtual customers happy and earning more tips. And for creative games like 'Good Coffee Great Coffee,' making intricate latte art feels so much more natural and fun with the pencil. It's like having a tiny, super-accurate paintbrush for your screen! The OCR identified me using the pencil to create latte art, place snacks, and top pizzas, and honestly, that's exactly what makes these games so much better. Beyond the ones mentioned in my initial list, I've found it fantastic for any cooking or time management game, just like with 'Delicious Emily' – those quick, accurate taps and drags are seamless. The OCR also highlighted the cooking/time management aspect, confirming how well the Pencil performs in these scenarios. It truly feels like you have better control over everything happening on screen, which is especially helpful when things get hectic! But it's not just about speed and accuracy. For puzzle games, especially those with small objects or intricate mechanics, the Apple Pencil saves so much frustration. Hidden object games become a breeze, and even some strategy games where you need to carefully select units or draw paths benefit immensely. I've also tried it with certain platformers where precise jumps or movements are required, and it gives you a level of control you just can't get with your finger. Beyond latte art, think about digital coloring books, sketching apps that have game-like challenges, or even tile-matching games where precise placement matters. The Apple Pencil truly lets you transform your iPad into a portable gaming console that doubles as a creative powerhouse. Another huge plus? Avoiding finger fatigue during long gaming sessions. My hand doesn't cramp up from constantly touching the screen, and the screen stays cleaner too! If you're looking to dive deeper into Apple Pencil gaming, I'd suggest checking out games in the simulation, puzzle, or creative categories. Often, game descriptions will mention stylus support, or you can just look for games with intricate UIs where precision would be a clear advantage. For some, the Apple Pencil can also make gaming more accessible. If you have trouble with fine motor control using just your finger, the precision and ergonomic grip of the pencil can make a big difference, opening up a whole new world of games. Seriously, if you have an Apple Pencil and an iPad, you're missing out if you haven't tried gaming with it. It truly elevates the experience, making many games not just easier, but genuinely more enjoyable and immersive. Give it a try – you might just find your new favorite way to play!

Knock off Apple Pencil
I want an Apple Pencil just don’t want to spend that much right! So I found this pencil for $10! All you have to do is put it on top of iPad and it connects! It charges while attached also and it’s recognized as an Apple Pencil! So far it’s awesome. It’s so smooth writing and drawing! #winwin
