How I use my iPad as a second monitor 📺

For the longest time, I was stubborn about having a second screen. I never liked the look of iSpacedesk not think it was practical for me.

What got me into using my iPad as a second screen was that I wanted to watch shows while I game at night 🤭🎮

I have used the Duet Display app [free — in-app purchases] to pair my iPad to my PC. I bought this app around eight years ago when it was a one-time payment. I got it before Sidecar existed! Because I got the app so long ago, they honored it, and I can still use it with the features but only wired to my PC. I do not mind this because it keeps my iPad charged while using it.

I love how seamless the connection is. And I can use the Apple Pencil as a drawing tablet, which works in real-time without lag.

I have yet to try this, but another alternative to using an iPad as a second screen is the app Spacedesk [free].
