私は実際に強風の影響が激しい地域でハウス農業を手伝った経験があります。やはりビニールの寿命は非常に短く、2年程度で穴や破れが出てしまうのが実情です。厚手のビニールを使う選択肢もありますが、費用が跳ね上がることと、張り替え作業時の重さで体力的に大変な問題がつきまといます。 薄いビニールだと気軽に交換できますが、頻繁な破れが作業効率を下げてしまうため、結局はコストと耐久性のバランスを取るのに苦労しました。ビニール交換の作業では、破れた部分を細かくカットして空気を抜き、きちんと折り畳んでフレコンバッグに詰める作業が地味に時間と手間を取りますが、これは環境面でも重要な役割を担っていると感じました。 さらに、強風対策としてビニールの固定方法やハウスの構造強化にも注目が必要です。ネットや支柱の補強を行うことで、ビニールの寿命を延ばせる可能性 があります。また、今後は耐候性や防風性に優れた新素材ビニールの導入も期待されており、農家にとっては良い選択肢となるでしょう。風に負けず、美味しい作物を育てるための挑戦は続きます。今回の経験を通して、農家の皆さんの努力と苦労をより多くの人に知ってもらえたらと思います。どうか応援の気持ちを形にして応援してください！
