How to make flower pressed bookmarks 🌸
I made these for my girls at Book Clurb 😝
They are super easy to make but does require a laminator.
You can buy pressed flowers on Amazon, along with the tassels.
I just arranged them on laminate film and then put them through the laminator.
I punched a hole for the tassel and that’s it!
Then I just went a little extra and put them in envelopes and wax sealed them. You can also get a wax sealing kit on Amazon.
We meet once a month and I want to start making them each a different bookmark everytime! So cheers to these being the first 🥂

Creating flower pressed bookmarks is not just a delightful activity but also a wonderful way to add a personal touch to your reading experience. Start by gathering fresh flowers, ideally flat blooms like daisies or violets, as they press well. To begin, you'll need a flower press or a heavy book to flatten your flowers. Place the blooms between tissue paper and press them under a weight for a week or until thoroughly dried. Once your flowers are ready, cut them to fit your laminate sheets. As you work on your bookmarks, consider using different colors and sizes for a visually appealing design. Experiment with layering petals to create depth. Accessorizing your bookmarks can also elevate their appearance; consider adding ribbons or decorative paper to the edges. This craft not only provides charming bookmarks but also makes for thoughtful gifts. Imagine the joy of receiving a uniquely designed bookmark made with care! For those looking to sell these bookmarks, remember to package them attractively and share your creations on social media with relevant hashtags like #DIYBookmarks and #FlowerBookmarks. So whether you're hosting a book club or crafting for yourself, flower pressed bookmarks offer an artistic outlet that celebrates the beauty of nature and reading.
