This is the first book in a series of 5 and I honestly don’t know if I’ll read the others. It was such a sloooowwww burn and I was getting tired of the WMC. She was super whiney and insecure, which understandable given her past, but it was just the same thing over and over. Mediocre in my opinion. Though the MMC was perfect.
It’s sort of an enemies/friends to lovers, forbidden romance type of vibes. The ending had a nice twist.
