When my fiance and I got engaged I knew I didn’t want a long engagement - he was just getting ready to have his surgery so when we were planning a day we knew it had to be summer before he went back to work this school year (he’s works at a high school) and before his birthday. Somehow very quickly while thinking of all that I decided on August 16th as our wedding day. Everyone kept asking how we decided that day and I honestly didn’t have a real answer I just kinda knew and felt that that day was the right day, honestly.
Ive been telling my fiance our wedding feels like my new birthday. And if anyone knows me they know I LOVE my birthday - my fiance tells me happy birthday every day in the month of February. 💕
This morning I was listening to Bible in a year and it’s day 219- I was doing the math and our wedding day falls on day 228. My birthday is 2/28.
If I needed a sign from God that I’m right where I’m supposed to be… there it is. He knows what He’s doing. 🙏🏼💍✨

Like many, I've had moments in life where I questioned why things weren't happening faster, or why certain paths closed off. But then, as my own wedding journey unfolded, I was given such a clear, beautiful sign that reminded me to trust the process. It's not just about the big events, but about how every little detail aligns when you let go and have faith.
For anyone waiting for their own perfect moment, whether it's finding love, overcoming a challenge, or even experiencing a reunion, remember that God's timing is never rushed, never delayed—always perfectly aligned with His purpose. This sentiment, beautifully captured in one of my wedding photos, truly resonates. It's easy to say, but living it takes patience and a deep sense of trust. Sometimes, it feels like an eternity, but those waiting periods are often where we grow the most, preparing us for what's to come.
I’ve heard so many stories, and experienced glimpses myself, where it truly feels like God brought us back together in his timing. This isn't always about a romantic reunion after a breakup; it can be about two souls finally finding each other after years of searching, or reconnecting with a purpose after life led them in different directions. It’s about divine orchestration, where circumstances align, people reappear, and opportunities arise at the precise moment they are meant to. It’s the universe gently, or sometimes powerfully, nudging us towards what's meant for us, proving that everything happens for a reason.
My discovery about my wedding day being 'Day 228' in a Bible plan, mirroring my 2/28 birthday, felt like a personal wink from above. These aren't coincidences; they are reaffirmations that we are on the right path, loved and guided. If you're feeling lost or uncertain, keep your eyes open for these signs. They might be subtle, a feeling, a song, a conversation, or a number that keeps appearing. These 'breadcrumbs' are there to assure you that a grander plan is at play.
Embrace the journey, the waiting, and the unfolding. Trust that your story is being written with divine precision, and that the right people, the right opportunities, and the right moments will appear exactly when they need to. There's immense comfort in knowing that you don't have to force things; simply have faith, be open, and watch the beautiful tapestry of your life weave itself together.
