I tried to add on yarn by tying a knot and cutting the excess tails instead of working the tails into the scarf. Being a newbie there is a trial and error learning curve. Just take it with a grain of salt and move on. There will be mistakes. Look up the Irish proverb about knitting mistakes. #kni
