Ellie and Matt’s story is one that will make you laugh, cry, and cry wish for your very own walking green flag hockey player. The romance was sooooo good, anyone who reads this is bound to fall in love with Matt who is a prime example of the appeal of older men. The way this book portrays the grieving process as a fluid thing rather than something that simply gets better with time really adds the layer of emotional complexity that all books need, and goes to show just how important it is to have a true partner that will be there for you in all the good and bad moments, no matter how dark and ugly they get.
