Trust in the Lord with all your heart

Good morning, my friends, and happy Saturday. No matter what this season brings, life is always lighter when we choose trust over fear. There is a deep, unshakable peace that comes from knowing God is with us, holding our lives in His hands, and working all things for our good—even when we don’t yet understand the “why.”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.”

—Proverbs 3:5–6

May you rest in that promise today and step into this Saturday with a grateful heart and steady faith. 💗

When I recall the verse from Proverbs 3:5-6, it’s a reminder that our limited human understanding often falls short in grasping the bigger picture. Choosing to trust God fully—even when the reasons or outcomes aren’t clear—helps release worry and fosters an inner calm. In moments of anxiety, I like to repeat the encouragement from Mark 5:36, "Be not afraid, only believe," which feels like a spiritual anchor. This mindset doesn’t mean ignoring reality or tough emotions but instead invites us to submit our fears and uncertainties to a higher power who guides us toward what’s best. Practically, adopting trust over fear can look like pausing when stress rises, praying or meditating on these scriptures, and reminding yourself that God is actively working behind the scenes. It has made Saturdays and ordinary days lighter and filled with gratitude, knowing that paths will be made straight through this surrender. Ultimately, trusting the Lord with all your heart transforms your outlook from one weighed down by doubt to one buoyed by faith. It’s a daily choice and experience that enriches life with peace beyond what our hearts can fully understand.
