What if God is gently bringing us to a place of humility?

Good morning and happy Tuesday, friends! ☀️

The world may feel uncertain right now… but our God is not. He is still big, still faithful, and still in control.

It’s easy to slip into fear or frustration when we look around. We hear it all the time… “What is happening to our country?” “This world is so broken.” But what if there’s something deeper happening?

What if, in the middle of all this, God is gently bringing us to a place of humility… reminding us that we were never meant to do this life alone?

Sometimes we have to be brought to our knees before we truly look up. Not in defeat, but in surrender. Not in fear, but in faith.

“God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

Instead of pouring our energy into worry today, let’s shift it into prayer. Into trust. Into leaning on Him and each other.

Let me ask you… what are you choosing today? Fear or faith?

Take a moment this morning and give it to God. Every worry, every unknown, every burden.

If this spoke to you, drop a “faith” below or share one thing you’re praying for today. Let’s lift each other up.

3/24 Edited to

... Read moreIn times of uncertainty and turmoil, I have found that embracing humility is one of the most powerful ways to reconnect with faith and inner peace. The familiar verse, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1), reminds me that surrendering our worries to God opens the door for true strength and resilience. Often, life's challenges can make us feel isolated and overwhelmed. But recognizing that we were never meant to face these struggles alone provides profound comfort. Personal experience has taught me that moments of humility—when we admit our limitations and turn to God—are not signs of weakness, but of courageous faith. During these times, prayer becomes a vital practice. It’s not just about asking for help but also about embracing trust and leaning on the community of fellow believers. Sharing our burdens and supporting each other through prayer can create a powerful solidarity that lifts spirits and strengthens resolve. The phrase from 1 John 4:4, "The Lord is...," though incomplete in the image, echoes the assurance that God who is within us is greater than any challenge we face. This promise encourages me to replace fear with faith daily, especially when I am tempted to focus on the brokenness around me. Choosing faith over fear is an ongoing process. It requires intention—a conscious decision to focus on hope, humility, and the grace that God offers. When I reflect on what I’m praying for, I realize that this spiritual practice nurtures patience and peace, helping me navigate uncertainty with a heart anchored in trust. If you find yourself struggling with fears or doubts, consider this gentle invitation to foster humility and faith. Take a moment to present your worries to God, not as a defeated soul but as one ready to receive strength and refuge. You might find you’re not alone—many of us are on this journey together, lifting each other up in faith and prayer.
