Help us to trust Your plan, even when we don’t understand it, and lean into You!
Good morning and happy Monday 🤍
As a new week begins, I know we are all walking into it carrying something. Some burdens are heavy and visible, and others are quiet but feel just as overwhelming. What feels small to one person can feel like a mountain to another, and it all matters.
If you’re anything like me, it’s easy to say “don’t worry, just pray”… but living that out can be a whole different story. Trusting God, especially when things don’t make sense, is not always easy.
Lord, today I ask that You bring comfort and peace to every heart reading this. Remind us that You are in control, even when life feels uncertain. Help us to trust Your plan, even when we don’t understand it, and to lean into You instead of holding onto worry.
Be close to those who are struggling right now. Let them feel Your presence in a real and personal way. Strengthen their faith, ease their minds, and remind them that You are always good.
Help us release our burdens to You in prayer instead of carrying them alone.
In Jesus name, amen.
As you step into today, what is one thing you’re choosing to give to God instead of holding onto?
If this spoke to you, share it with someone who may need a little extra peace this morning 🤍

... Read moreI’ve often found myself overwhelmed by the weight of daily struggles, both big and small. What really helped me was remembering the words of C.S. Lewis: "It's not the load that weighs you down, it's the way you carry it." This simple truth transformed how I approach my challenges. Instead of trying to bear them alone, I’ve learned to bring my worries to God in prayer, trusting that He will carry the burden with me.
One practice I found powerful is starting each day with a quiet moment of reflection. During this time, I intentionally choose one worry or fear to give over to God. This act of surrender doesn’t immediately erase my concerns, but it shifts my perspective and fills me with a sense of calm and hope.
I also remind myself that trusting God doesn’t mean having all the answers or understanding everything that happens. Sometimes faith means embracing uncertainty and believing that God’s plan is good, even if it’s not clear at the moment. This trust grows through reading scripture, talking with a supportive faith community, and being open to God’s presence in everyday life.
For anyone struggling to trust when life feels chaotic, try leaning on prayer and honest conversation with God. Ask for peace, strength, and clarity to face whatever comes your way. Over time, releasing your burdens this way can lead to deeper comfort and a renewed sense of purpose.
If you’re walking through a tough season right now, know you’re not alone. Sharing your journey with others and seeking encouragement can make a meaningful difference. I hope these thoughts encourage you to let go of what you’re holding tightly and rest in the assurance that God’s love and plan are with you every step of the way.
Changing your approach can make things feel lighter.
