Growth means there is something being built.
Good morning my friends! ☀️
Have you ever noticed how blessings don’t always show up as “easy”… sometimes they look like full calendars, longer days, and a whole lot of moving pieces?
These past few weeks have been BUSY… finishing up baseball, interviewing potential staff, and stretching the days a little longer than usual. Yet in the middle of all of it, I can’t help but feel so incredibly grateful.
Three new team members hired…
Staying consistent with eating and exercise…
A full schedule the rest of the week…
And you know what? What a blessing it all is.
I’ll be honest… slowing down and finding the pause doesn’t come easy for me. Sometimes I have to be very intentional and make myself pause. It’s a work in progress either way. But even in that struggle, I am so very thankful.
Because busy means there is purpose.
Full days mean there is opportunity.
Growth means there is something being built.
Not every season is slow and restful… some seasons are meant to stretch you, grow you, and remind you just how capable you are with God leading the way.
So today, instead of wishing for “less,” I’m choosing gratitude for “more.”
What is something in your life right now that feels busy… but is actually a blessing?
Let’s start this day with thankful hearts and open eyes to all the good around us. 💛
In my own experience, I've found that what initially seems like an overwhelming busy schedule can actually be a powerful catalyst for personal and professional growth. It’s often easy to wish for slower days filled with rest, but when we pause to reflect, we realize that busy times are rich with opportunity. Whether it’s managing multiple responsibilities at work, balancing family obligations, or pursuing personal goals like exercising regularly, each task builds resilience and skills. One lesson I've learned is the importance of intentional pauses. It might sound contradictory to slow down during a busy season, but these moments of reflection and gratitude recharge our minds and spirits. For instance, I make it a habit to take short breaks during hectic days to breathe deeply and appreciate progress instead of just deadlines. This practice keeps me motivated and grounded. The affirmation "If you only kinda sorta try then you only kinda sorta get results" really resonates with me. It reminds me to fully commit to each task, knowing that sincere effort builds momentum. Growth is built piece by piece, much like constructing a building; each day’s challenges are like bricks contributing to the overall structure. Additionally, embracing a mindset of gratitude transforms how we view our busy lives. Instead of seeing a full calendar as a burden, I try to see it as a canvas of opportunities to learn, contribute, and evolve. This perspective enables me to acknowledge the blessings hidden in long hours and demanding schedules. Through faith and self-awareness, I'm reminded that these seasons lead to enhanced capabilities and unexpected blessings beyond immediate results. If you’re juggling many responsibilities right now, try to focus on the purpose behind the busyness. What foundations are you building for your future? How can you nurture gratitude even among chaos? These reflections can foster strength and joy, making growth not just a goal, but a gratifying journey.
