Reflections at 35

I haven’t been too active on here as I feel like I’m reaching a point of critical mass. I found journals I started during my “self improvement” kick which was 10 years ago now 🫨. So I guess I can say that I have been improving my life over the past decade. Some highlights of the past decade :

- Paid off my credit cards, student loans and car loan (over $20k debt)

- Debt free by 30 y/o

- Reached six figure income at work

- Bought first house

I feel like turning 35 has been a turning point for me. I literally feel different, like a switched flipped. Maybe my brain fully developed? Who knows..

Turning 35 can symbolize more than just an age; it's often viewed as a significant life milestone. Many individuals find themselves reassessing their priorities and achievements during this time. The journey of self-improvement is continual, and sharing experiences can inspire others on similar paths. In your 30s, you may encounter pivotal moments in career development, finances, and personal relationships. Achieving financial freedom, as mentioned in my experiences, can release significant stress and provide opportunities for further investments in your life, such as purchasing a home or starting a family. It's a decade for questions like: Have you reached your goals? What are the dreams ahead? Moreover, the emotional and mental shifts that come with age are invaluable. Understanding that your brain continues to develop can lead to new perspectives on how you handle challenges and engage with the world. Embracing the changes and recognizing personal achievements can lay the foundation for the next chapter of your life. Reflecting on the past not only celebrates achievements but also prepares you for future aspirations.
