Normalize small homes

This is my first house and it was a fixer upper. We’ve been working on it a little over a year now, but it finally feels cozy to me! We’d love to move on to something bigger one day, but for now we love making our little house a home!

Has anyone else taken on a small fixer upper as their first home? If so, how long did it take to “finish” it?
