This book wasn’t really for me. I didn’t care for it. I didn’t find it interesting or exciting, but I do think the writing was good. This is a two star read for me, which is around what I expected to rate it after I learned more about it after I purchased the physical copy. It has been on my shelf for nearly two years because I anticipated that I wouldn’t like it. This book confirmed my suspicion that I don’t think dark romances are for me, aside from a few exceptions. This book was more smut than plot in my opinion and its chapters were long in comparison to most other romance books that I’ve personally read. Do with this information what you will. If your taste in books is similar to mine, I can’t say that I recommend this one.

I thought the plot was predictable but not in a boring kind of way. You knew what was going to happen but not the details on how they got there. The spice was something else. If you’re religious, I don’t think this taboo romance would be for you but you never know!! I recommend giving it a read!
