Made my first DIY Cricut Wedding Sign!
Omg guys I’m so excited about this one!
My future brother and sister in laws are getting married in a couple weeks and for some reason I signed myself up for trying to make their rehearsal dinner sign. I was STRESSING this week since it was going to be my first big project!
I am THRILLED with how this came out and truly has me wondering if I should look into a side hustle doing these lol. I may have had a minor meltdown when I started this one, but once I figured out what techniques worked best, I actually enjoyed it!
What do you guys think?!!!

Making a wedding sign can be an exhilarating yet daunting DIY project, especially for beginners. Cricut machines are a wonderful tool that simplify the crafting process, enabling users to create intricate designs with ease. When planning a wedding, personalized decor is essential for creating a memorable atmosphere. A DIY sign can add a special touch that reflects the couple's taste and style. To start, it’s important to gather all necessary materials, including adhesive vinyl, transfer tape, and a Cricut machine. Before cutting, design your sign using software like Cricut Design Space, where you can select fonts, images, and templates to bring your vision to life. Don't rush; take time to adjust and preview your design to ensure every detail is perfect. Once your design is ready, it’s time to cut! Remember to thoroughly test settings on sample materials to achieve the best results without wasting supplies. After cutting, carefully weed out the excess vinyl and use transfer tape to apply your design to the surface of the sign. This is where the magic happens—you’ll slowly see your design come to life! Lastly, don't forget to add creative options like paint, embellishments, or lighting to elevate your sign further. With a little patience and practice, creating DIY wedding signs can become a fun and rewarding project, potentially sparking new interests or even becoming a side hustle, just like in my case!
