Book Review for the Lonely, the Lost, and the Broken
# Book reviewVolume 1 of Aug. / 22 of 2025
I don't know which category to call or give "I Call Him a Tie" in the book, but we call it an indie semi-poet novel because it's a short story full of emotion, feelings, turbidity, loneliness. If anyone doesn't know, they think it's written by a Japanese writer because it really has that feed, but the fact is that the author is half Japanese-Austrian.
It's the story of two imperfect people who meet by chance, one is a twentieth-year-old man with "Hikiko Mori" who has locked himself in a room for years, the other is a middle-aged man who should be at the head of a family who should be in an office, but they meet back in a park to become a friendship that heals each other's wounds.
As I said, it was very depressing, there was no clear rain, only a cloudy atmosphere, raining throughout the book, like we were reading the confessions of two people who were so full of guilt and clung to it that they were broken, which is what everyone has to experience, which makes us feel easy to share even if we have never experienced the same situation.
And even if it's about two people, there's a scene of characters around them that allows us to understand and recognize the suffering of all the characters in common, like the yoke everyone has to bear, of anyone.
There are social issues like bullying in schools, the pressure of working people, and that society has no place to stand for different people.
It is a book that requires a high concentration in reading because it does not have quotation marks and must understand who this person speaks. Thai translators are very good. The language is very beautiful.
It's like a friend comforts us that life is like this, but we shouldn't throw our whole life away just because it's intact, and to live is to live with the wounds of life.Night Sky With Exit WoundsOcen Wong) The content is heavy, but it also makes us feel that life is still worth waking up to see the sunrise every day.
I call him a necktie.

Once again, I wanted to give him a blanket, a natural desire to protect him, at least from harm.
I stood at the entrance to the fragrance and said, "The best thing to do is to come home."
That's probably why we met, and we realized at the same time that it was impossible to change what happened.
If you jump on the train tomorrow morning, what's the use of what I'm telling you today?
The silence of the forest is, in fact, full of noises.
What I lost was not only the ability to walk in a straight line, but the power I used to overlook.
What I want to say is that lying hurts us as soon as we start lying.
How good would it be if we worked, not for its effect, but for giving without effort?
She didn't cry for regret, but to see the essence of life more clearly.
I often hear that the first morning together means a lot, it's a pledge, it says who gets up first, who makes coffee, who makes breakfast, Kyoko can still sleep, turn around and say muffled...Go buy something to eat on the way. That decision stopped me breathing...I will never love her less, even if she loves me less.
We all have bondage, all of us, but that does not mean that we are irresponsible, that without freedom, we must constantly make decisions and be responsible for their decisions and consequences.
People who hear only laughing in laughter are deaf.
If there's only one thing I'm going to teach you, I'm going to tell you not to be shy, not shy about being a person with whatever it is, feel it deeply and with a gentle heart, feel it even more deeply, with a more gentle heart, feel it for yourself, feel it for someone else, and then let it go.
The hard heart prevents me from feeling the softness of his cheeks deeply and sincerely between the two of us. It was me whose heart was defective.
People say that people are born once, and why do we die again and again?
And maybe, not knowing when, we'll meet and sit down in the same space big enough for both of us, and then we'll understand, we've never been anywhere else.
Do you want more rice? (Short but wholehearted. Go to read why)
