Break from school work
I just started my summer courses and whew, it’s kinda kicking my butt. I’m also a mom, wife, I work out regularly, work part time , maintain the household, my husband helps ☺️ it’s a lot though, ngl.
Starting summer courses while juggling family commitments, part-time work, and personal fitness can be overwhelming. I’ve found that taking intentional breaks from school work not only refreshes my mind but also boosts my productivity when I return to studying. One of my favorite break activities is changing into a comfortable but stylish outfit, which helps me mentally shift away from academic stress. Incorporating short breaks during study sessions—like a 5 to 10-minute walk or stretching—can dramatically improve focus and reduce fatigue. It’s important to recognize when you’re hitting a wall and give yourself permission to pause. During these moments, engaging in something enjoyable, like sharing a quick outfit update or chatting with loved ones, reminds you that life’s about more than just school. Balancing multiple roles as a mom, wife, student, and part-time employee calls for flexible time management and setting realistic expectations. Don’t hesitate to enlist support from family members; a helping hand goes a long way. Moreover, maintaining a healthy workout routine keeps energy levels up and clears the mind during challenging academic periods. Ultimately, taking breaks is essential—not a luxury. They help sustain motivation over long summer courses and reduce burnout. Embrace these pauses as integral parts of your learning process, and you'll likely find your performance and well-being improve overall.
