the books i read in march ☁️

to be honest this reading month just wasn’t it 😅 i only really liked 2 of the books I read so I had a lot of flops. I’m hopeful for a better reading month in April with so many amazing releases!!

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls

This memoir was absolutely incredible, I highly recommend!!

Behind The Net by Stephanie Archer - 2.5⭐️

If you want a quick easy hockey romance, give this a try! It was just a bit cringy at moments and I just didn’t care about the characters. Loved the cute dog in this though <3

Exodus by Kate Stewart - 4⭐️

I loved this so much more than the first book in this series, It definitely kept me invested the whole time!

Hopeless by Elsie Silver - 2⭐️

I made a post regarding my thoughts on this book but long story short, this just wasn’t for me!

Tender Is The Flesh by Agustina Bazterrica - 1⭐️

I literally cannot express how much I hated this book, it put me in a HORRIBLE place mentally, so no I don’t recommend 🫠

... Read moreIn March, I explored a mix of genres, from memoirs to romance. 'The Glass Castle' by Jeannette Walls stood out as an emotional and engaging read, earning my highest recommendation for its authenticity and storytelling. For a lighter read, "Behind The Net" offered an easy-going hockey romance, though I found it lacking in character depth. 'Exodus' kept me intrigued and was a significant improvement over its predecessor. However, 'Hopeless' and 'Tender Is The Flesh' were disappointments, each failing to resonate with me. Whether you're looking for heartfelt memoirs or quick romances, I hope my reflections will guide your next reads. Let's look forward to the new releases in April and aim for a more fulfilling reading experience!

The Glass Castle is amazing. The movie isn't as good, but it still made me cry.

I’m proud that I still read this amount of books for the month of March. I have a fulltime job and I’m a full time mom. Managing that already makes my life busy as it is, but I also have gym days, family days and date night. I love that reading has been part of my self care routine💕 #monthl
