is this series worth the hype?! ⚖️

It's been popping up on my feeds, recommended by friends, and constantly talked about in online book communities. After seeing it as my current Kindle read on my e-reader, I finally decided to dive in, and wow, what a journey it's been so far! I know many of you are probably asking the same questions I did before starting: 'Is Zodiac Academy worth reading?' or 'Is this series good?' Let me share my initial thoughts and help you decide if it’s the right magical adventure for you. First off, let's talk about the plot, which is where the magic truly begins. The series centers around two orphan sisters who discover they possess powerful magic and are thrust into a world they never knew existed. They end up attending a prestigious (and very dangerous) magic school where they encounter fae, dragons, wolves, and all sorts of mystical creatures. It's truly an immersive fantasy world, filled with intricate lore and a compelling sense of mystery. From what I’ve gathered, it’s not just about learning spells; it’s about survival, uncovering their past, and challenging the established order. The OCR even highlighted elements like "fae, magic, dragons, and wolves," which perfectly captures the rich tapestry of this universe. Now, for the burning question: 'Is Zodiac Academy fantasy, and is it YA?' Yes, it absolutely is a fantasy series, brimming with unique magic systems and mythical beings. However, while it often gets shelved with Young Adult (YA) novels due to the school setting and protagonists' ages, it definitely leans into New Adult (NA) territory as the series progresses. From what I hear, the themes mature, and the romance intensifies, making it perhaps less "appropriate for 13 year olds" and more suited for older teens and adults who enjoy a darker, more complex fantasy. It's not strictly a YA in the traditional sense, so be prepared for some intense situations and mature content. Another common query is, 'Is Zodiac Academy a why choose series?' For those unfamiliar, 'why choose' refers to a romance subgenre where the protagonist doesn't have to choose between love interests but can be in a relationship with multiple partners.
