Hey Kee HK Seafood Restaurant -Retro HK 大排档 themed

Hey Kee HK Seafood is a retro Hongkong Dai pai dong style seafood restaurant located at Guillemard road right where the G-spa is located at.

I have been wanting to try this and today I had the opportunity to try it with my parents.

We ordered several dishes and these are what we ordered;

1) Handmade Lychee balls

2) Deep fried silver fish with salt and pepper (we ordered 2 servings for pax of 7!

3) Stir fry pork belly with green pepper

4) Braised eggplant with minced pork & spicy sauce

5) Steamed live prawns with minced garlic and vermicelli 💰 Price: $55 for 600g worth of prawns (damn worth it IMO because it’s such a huge serving!)

6) Scrambled egg with shrimp

there are some dishes which needed to be pre-ordered but don’t worry cus the restaurant will text you prior to your reservation day in the afternoon to inform you about it and also the prices.

we’ll be back again!! I so damn wanna try the angus beef next time because my parents don’t take beef and my erge wasn’t present today.

My dad is a picky eater and today he ate 2 bowls of rice!

... Read moreHey Kee HK Seafood offers a delightful walk down memory lane with its retro Hong Kong dai pai dong ambiance and hearty seafood dishes, perfect for those craving authentic flavors. Beyond the dishes I tried, the menu also includes other Hong Kong staples like signature angus beef and specialty pre-ordered items, which the restaurant thoughtfully notifies you about before your reservation. The deep-fried silver fish with salt and pepper was a crowd-pleaser at our table, crispy and flavorful, ideal for sharing. The steamed live prawns were freshly served with minced garlic and vermicelli, a generous portion at an excellent price, making it a real value find. The stir-fried pork belly with green pepper offered a tasty balance of textures and spice, complementing the braised eggplant with minced pork and spicy sauce, which was rich and comforting. For dessert, the handmade lychee balls stood out with their unique homemade quality, adding a sweet touch to our meal. It's also worth noting that the restaurant's location next to G-spa on Guillemard Road makes it easy to access. For seafood lovers or anyone wishing to experience a slice of Hong Kong’s street food culture in Singapore, Hey Kee HK Seafood provides satisfying portions and a friendly dining experience. If you seek recommendations, the staff is accommodating and proactive with reservations and special dish notifications, making the visit smooth and enjoyable. Upcoming visits will definitely explore the angus beef, a dish recommended by the staff and other diners, promising to enrich the menu further. With my dad, a picky eater, happily eating two bowls of rice, it’s clear this place appeals even to selective palates. Overall, Hey Kee HK Seafood captures the essence of Hong Kong’s dai pai dong culture with quality seafood and homestyle cooking that’s both nostalgic and delicious—highly recommended for casual family dinners or friends’ gatherings.
