Girl🌸POV: WHAT I DO FOR MY MENTAL HEALTH 🧠

Heyyyy Budget Meal besties 🫶🏽,

I know a lot of you all know me for my budget meals and being the “self-proclaimed” budget meal queen but I do have to take care of myself and the best way that I find to do this is by taking up hobbies that only include myself no one else.

📋So my two favorite things that I do for self-care is I create custom coffee creations, and I garden 🪴 . Gardening brings me so much joy. It helps me ground myself, and it brings my mental health battery 🪫 back to fully charged to deal with the nonsense of this here place we call Earth 🌍. I recharge my creativity through my custom coffee drinks that I take pride in making, and drinking for pennies on the dollar, almost every single morning.

📝 I also truly think the most important thing to having a well balanced life is to prioritize pockets of time for you to recharge you. In this case I put gardening in one pocket, creating coffee recipes in another pocket, cooking in another pocket,creating budget meals so that I can feed my family in another pocket, parenting in one pocket, being a wife in one pocket, being a daughter in a pocket, and etc. I am so many things to so many people that I have to carve out time, or so to speak “pockets” for just myself!

🛑 Take some time out today and ask yourself…What do you have in your pockets and if you don’t have anything, maybe that’s your sign to reevaluate all the things you have going right now and move forward differently. We all have the same amount of time in each day, so how do you plan on using yours wisely?
