Artistic Mom Hack for Baby/Toddler

This isn’t something new but it’s definitely a hack when you don’t want your kids to get messy or accidentally paint things that they shouldn’t.

All you need is some kind of tape (I used painters tape), a ziplock bag, and some washable paint. You place random spots of paint all over your paper or card stock. Then close it up in a Ziploc bag and let your kid move the paint around. It’s an easy, fun activity.

Bonus: it keeps them busy and its mess free.

One of my favorite things I’ve done ever since my now 3 year old was able to show interest in trying to go into my pantry to grab snacks was to create a space of his own in the kitchen. Done safely, this gives him the freedom to help himself to snacks he wants, or a cup to fill with water himself.
