Fancy cakes on a budget
This looks expensive… but it’s not.
If you want that “extra” dessert moment without spending bakery prices, mini cakes are the easiest way to do it.
Here’s what made these look elevated:
🧁 Use mini disposable cake tins
They instantly make everything feel more custom and put-together. Plus you can switch up the design on each one.
🧁 Stick with a simple base
I used a box cake mix and basic white frosting. Nothing fancy, just a clean base to build on.
🧁 Upgrade your sprinkles
Skip the basic ones. Go for mixes that feel themed or aesthetic. I did different combos on each cake and it made them look so much more high-end.
🧁 Mix textures + colors
Rainbow, gold + pearls + pink rock candy, purple + silver + white… small details, but it changes everything.
🧁 Use bakery frosting if you can
I grabbed frosting from a grocery store bakery, froze it, and thawed it when I needed it. It piped so easily and tasted way better than typical store-bought tubs.
This is one of those things that looks like you spent way more time and money than you actually did.
Save this for your next event 🤍

These are too cute! I'm a firm believer that everything tastes better when it's a mini version 😂
